Artist talk by Jason Tonio Woerner

Jason Tonio Woerner is a fine art photographer and photo-essayist based in Bangkok, Thailand. He was educated at the University of Washington in Seattle, United States, where he studied fine art and cognitive linguistics. Currently, he teaches photography at Mahidol University in Thailand. His primary artistic interest lies in the relationship between the familiar and the foreign – how we build these concepts, how they affect the way we experience the world, and what happens when they overlap.
