Chhun Kimly (born. 1997 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia) lives and works in Phnom Penh. She graduated from Architecture and Urbanization at the Royal University of Fine Arts in 2020. She graduated from Contemporary Art Class at Sa Sa Art Projects 2018. Kimly’s interested in different art medias, which is include history, politics and social issue’s both local and international. She received Arn Chorn Pond Living Arts Scholarship Student in 2016. She was invited to join a Studio Images at French Institute in 2018. She has been participated for three months Unsung heroes project as a researcher to find out the eldest artist among two provinces at Pursat and Kompung Spue province in 2019. She was working for 7 months at the Vispan company’s project for conservation Chanchhaya temple at Royal Palace in 2019. Her group exhibitions have been at venues including People and Space, Photo Phnom Penh Festival at Tor Tim Café Art & Gallery 2019, Sa Sa Art Projects in 2018, and histories Du reel at French Institute in 2018.
