About Kong Siden

Kong Siden (b. 1997, Phnom Penh) is an artist and interior designer who also works as a Design and Digital Coordinator at Sa Sa Art Projects. He works with various media, including photography, video, installation, light, and sound. Interested in the complex relationship between humans and changing physical space, his work often involves heightening a sense of connection that is both physical and emotional, and creating sensorial experiences through observation, interaction, and contemplation.

Siden graduated in Interior Design from Phnom Penh’s Royal University of Fine Arts, and has joined several contemporary art courses at Sa Sa Art Projects. He is a recipient of Dogma Prize, Hi Chi Minh City, 2023; Treeline Grant, Siem Reap, 2020; and Java Creative Generation 3 Award, Phnom Penh, 2020.
