About the artists

Born in 1997 in Kampong Thom Province, Song Seakleng moved to study in Phnom Penh, Cambodia’s capital, in 2011 and graduated in Arts in Media Management from the Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2020. In 2019, he joined group exhibition, Possibility, Transferring and Passing, Sa Sa Art Projects. He was one the five artist awardees for Creative Generation 3 in 2020. He undertakes, through his artistry, to fight against discrimination and toxic norms and to expand pride, peace and dignity for the social diversity. By making art, it helps him with revealing hidden feeling of his, finding his own identity, giving voice to the voiceless, pushing beyond social limitation and reducing social judgment.
