Mizuhiki Workshop with Tengshing Kazama

People in Japan use a Mizuhiki ribbon on the envelop when they have a celebration. Tengshing will teach you how to make an Awaji tie, which is on the picture of this event. Awaji tie is used for events that we wish it would happen only once in our life such as marriage.

You can not tie "Mizuhiki", if you think with your brain. It is important to remember with the hands and the body sensibly. Modern jobs are mostly that uses brains. This "Mizuhiki" can not be delegated by a machine. With this workshop, you can know the ability of human beings.

In Buddhism meditation, in addition to sitting, there are also meditation that keeps on writing sutra and keeps doing the same act. Continuing focusing on simple manual work has the effect of relaxing the spirit. While experiencing Japanese daily traditional culture, let's get the opportunity to know your body and to refresh yourself.
